The sport of submission wrestling brings together techniques from folk wrestling, Judo, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Jujitsu, Sambo, and Hiraido. This class supplements the Hiraido and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu curriculum.
This class can help out competitors for no-gi tournaments and mixed martial arts competition. Recommended attire for the class is shorts, t-shirt or rash guard. Students can also wear grappling shorts (spandex) or spats (spandex) along with a mouth-piece.
