Little Warriors
A safe and fun-filled martial arts course tailored just for kids 4 - 7 years old. This energetic program includes basic safety skills, basic martial arts skills, exercise and games. It emphasizes discipline, patience, and respect.
Instructor: Shihan John McGraugh, who holds a degree in Education and has 35 years of experience teaching elementary school.

Self-Defense Goshinjitsu
A comprehensive self-defense system that incorporates a wide range of skills including striking, throwing, grappling and submissions. While its curriculum is based on classical jujitsu, the techniques themselves have been refined and modernized.
Instructor: Shihan John McGraugh.

Mixed Martial Arts Hiraido
A modern martial arts course that integrates kickboxing, wrestling, judo and submission grappling into one system. The course content is physically demanding and the skills taught can be applied to competitions or just used for self-defense.
Instructor: Sensei Luis Romero.

Japanese Sword Batto - Do
The ancient Japanese art of the Samurai Sword. Students learn and practice a combination of forms with a wooden sword, sparring with padded swords and test-cutting with live swords.

Saturday 1 -- 2 pm, ages 12+, McGraugh
Brazilian Jujitsu
This course offers the best of the grappling arts; Wrestling, Judo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu combined into one class. Learn the entire grappling game from standing throws, takedowns to submissions. This class allows students to use these techniques together naturally for modern grappling competition.

Filipino Martial Arts Kali Silat
This course teaches defensive tactics unarmed, and with sword, knife, and impact weapons . It is an MMA approach based in the arts from the Philippines, Indonesia, and surrounding areas. Striking, clinch, and ground ranges are covered, both with weapons and without. And methods from other arts that are effective in these ranges, like wrestling and jiujitsu, are an essential part of the training. To learn more go to FMA Tucson

Kajukenbo
A hybrid street fighting system that includes techniques from boxing, judo, jujitsu, kenpo karate and kung-fu. Students learn strikes, throws, joint and limb attacks as well as blocks and disarmament of offensive weapons. Kajukenbo is about Ohana (family), it embodies warrior empathy and the eternal value of self-cultivation.
Instructor: Sempai Michael King, who trained under Sensei Greggory E. Tobias, founder of Sei Ryu Kan.
