Kids Grappling (BJJ)
Grappling (BJJ) is a competitive form of self-defense for girls and boys that promotes confidence, discipline, respect and positive developmental qualities. There are also huge physical benefits that come along while learning Grappling (BJJ), it teaches self-defense but also teaches our kids how to live a healthy lifestyle which is so important to learn at a young age.
The course integrates grappling techniques, conditioning and skill oriented games aiming to improve focus, motor skills, agility and flexibility. Our students learn takedowns, falls, holds, and at the older ages, submissions. They will implement the learned technique in a controlled and supervised sparring session, where they have the opportunity to practice with a partner.
Kids are in a constant state of learning but unfortunately In today’s world, they spend hours being inactive, on their computers or playing video games. It is so important for them be practice some type of developmental activity like martial arts. Our Grappling (BJJ) course fosters successful patterns and behaviors that will give our kids the best possible chance to succeed in life.
